Africa Wiki Women
Africa Wiki Women is a dynamic community founded in 2023 to close the gender gap in knowledge creation and amplify the voices of African women across digital and open knowledge spaces. We empower women with the tools, skills, resources, and mentorship they need to create, share, and lead in shaping knowledge about Africa.
Our community brings together passionate women committed to documenting and celebrating African cultures, stories, and lived experiences. Through training, mentorship, campaigns, and collaborative programs, we create opportunities for women to learn, connect, and contribute meaningfully across platforms.
We work with a wide network of partners, including community groups, educational institutions, and global organizations, to build inclusive spaces where African women can thrive. Together, we are shaping a more representative and equitable digital future
