Meet the Team

Africa Wiki Women is a community of changemakers dedicated to closing the gender gap in open knowledge. Through mentorship, capacity building, and storytelling, we empower African women, including contributors, educators, designers, and leaders, to create a more inclusive knowledge ecosystem.

By fostering collaboration and providing skill-building opportunities, we amplify African voices and cultures, ensuring women have the tools and confidence to shape global knowledge and make a lasting impact.

Capacity Building

We organize Skill Up Trainings to strengthen digital, leadership, and community-building skills.

Campaigns

We run impactful initiatives such as EditHerAfrica, designed to amplify women’s voices and increase representation.

Through AWW Podcasting, we share stories, experiences, and insights that inspire and inform our growing community.
